This course teaches how to design characters, their environments, and their backstories. Students will create characters, scenery design, clothing design, and basic plot-creation.

6 - 10 students	2 hours per class

Course Projects

Project 2: Designing a simple character in the style of newspaper comics or loony tunes

Project 6: Designing nature-related scenery for one of your previously designed characters

Project 9: Creating a backstory to a new character or one of the previous ones.

*Prepare your own materials

• HB pencil/ regular #2 pencil (Quantity: at least 2)

• 2H pencil (Quantity:1)

• Pencil sharpener

• 8.5 x 11 inch printer paper (at least 48 sheets, or four for each class)

• Staedtler Mars Plastic eraser (Quantity:1)
