This course teaches the basics of using Adobe Photoshop, with the goal of students being able to draw, edit, and color their own webcomics and illustrations using the tools available in this program.

Project 1: Getting accustomed to using a drawing tablet

Project 4: Digitally inking objects using several different photoshop brushes 

Project 9: Coloring drawings from Units 2 and 3 (or others) with flat colors first, and then with shading

• Digital Drawing Tablet*Wacom is recommended. Huion is a more affordable option. iPads and similar devices work too.

• Adobe Photoshop (for students) *Adobe Photoshop, preferably for Mac or PC. Photoshop for the iPad lacks some of the functionality.
